What a Weekend!

Another awesome weekend in the OC! We brought back the old school...with some good old fashion hanging out n gud times with Dayzers n LOG.

Laid to Rest: 11.13.04 6am

Randomly woke up at 6am after having pulled an all-nighter the day before. (juss like college). But for some reason I really couldnt get bak to sleep. Went downstairs and it turns out that our family friend had passed away that past tuesday and his funeral was later that day at 9am in glendale. Pero my parents weren't planning on going becuz it was a tad far, and short notice. But then I realized that since I was coming down to for the poker tourney, we could pass by before n da parentals could take the train bak up after the funeral. So it all turned out. It was my Tito Don who had been sick the last 4 year. His daughter juss got married 3 weeks ago...seemed like he was just waiting to make sure his family had someone to take care of them..kinda like a replacement. Rest in peace Tito Don...you deserve to rest with Him.

Yoshinoya Stands Alone: 11.13.04 11am

Grubbed with the parentals at Yoshinoya! I love that place. So cheap yet so yummy. Can never go wrong with rice, beef, and onions! YUM-MIE! Then I dropped off at the Metrolink station before headin to Diamond Bar.

Poker Tourne: 11.13.04 2pm

Meet up with Emmy to buy snacks for the poker tourne. Then headed to Kays for some Texas hold 'em! It was nice to see old face...old school dayzers...new school dayzers...my fam n friends all together in the same room coming together for fun and to raise funds for an awesome cause: our Days family. Days has gone thru a transition the last few years. The older Dayzers don't come out as much as they used to...but when they do its always so nice. They are who made my Dayz experience what it is: the Filipino culture all coming for the common reason of Kuya Jess! Gud times. My girls and fam even came out to support. It really meant a lot to me. The tourne was a success...and we hope to host more in da future.

The Incredibles: 11.13.04 9pm

called the Loggers to see what the happenings were and find out they were planning a trip to the Spectrum for da Incredibles! Before then a pit spot at Wendy's for some grub! Freakin DRAMA. Damn Loggers freakin thrive on Drama! Guess jokes sometimes just go too far...we all got to be careful about that. I know I sure am guilty of that. Anyhoo...we took up another WHOLE row at Edwards...gud times. I think i was going delerious during the movie..but hey I had been up since 6am. Miss Toni Rose and I stopped at Cheeskayk for some hella gud slice of raspberry white chocalate truffle...can i say YUMMIE! Grubbed at Shawshank...caught up with da ladies of shawshank and passed out at 3am. Tanks for ur bed foo. Sori if I smooched u.

A Jazzy Morning: 11.14.04 7am

Woke up and had a venting session with the Angfoo. Turned on some Nora Jones and looked at pictures. Nice lounging morning! Found out Angie's car was found in the 714!! Got up and took a shower. Got splashed with freakin COLD water...a rice pot...and Ang. Freakin NGfoo!! Punkass! Got ready for noon mass.

Music to my Heart: 11.14.04 12 noon

Went to practice...and sang for choir. Moved my Dianne's leadership and the heart of the choir. Especially moved my music ministry, LOG, and meditation. Tanks for re-igniting da flame Interfaith and LOG. Its so awesome the ministry that YOU all do! Amen? Amen!! Stayed for da potluck. Another venting session at the new student housing at UCI.

Bonding with da AMC girls: 5pm

Kathee n Joycee came over for a lil and we had ourselves a catch-up fest. Tanks girls. Seems like we all have the common bond of no longer living in Irvine. Catching up on da chismis...gud times gud times. When it was time to leave, Kathee busts out with her old school big-ass polaroid! LoL!

The End: 7pm

The end of busy busie weekend came. Drove my 1 hour and 45 minute drive bak to the antelope valley!
