Guess what? I landed me a part-time job :o) It's on-campus, really easy, and convenient. I went to the career center on friday...saw a posting...went to inquire about...and got hired on the spot. Pretty cool eh? Thank you KJ!!

The interview was painless, and my new boss was really easy to talk to. And to top it all off, she had some soothing classical music playing in the background...which made for a really relaxing & casual interview. Turns out her daughter is also a nurse who graduated from Mt. St. Mary's. Small world.

So my title is College 4 Assistant. My job description is proctoring Math and English tests for newly accepted college students, inputting their data into our computer system, and advising them on how to proceed with the registration process. It's mindless yet social. A welcomed study break into between classes. And to top it off, they highly encourage that we study on our down times. How cool is that? We can even go on line...without getting in trouble. It's a pretty sweet gig!!! Now gotta get back to being a nerd!
