"what u are becoming is more important than what you are accomplishing"

This quote is quite significant to me at my current state in life. Society brainwashes us to believe that we are defined by our career, what kind of car we drive, by how much we have in our bank account. I too have been sucked into this menatality. However, lil reminders like this quote really helps me put everything back into perspective. Life is really more about the person that you become along the way. Sure it would be nice to guage success in life based on accomplishments or even what things you've obtained. But do we really get to keep any of those possessions. Only thing we can take w/ us the person that we are and the experience that we've made. And each experience is a chance to grow for the better.

My current state life it feels like everything's in slow mo and things are just stagnant. So I'm challanging myself not to focus on not having a job. But rather use this time to make sure i'm the best me that I can be. This is hard tough at times, especially wen my anti-voice is so loud that it drowns out reality. the best way i can describe my anti-voice is simlar to that tiny lil devil that u see in cartoons on the characters left shoulder...and he's always accompanied by an angel on the opposite shoulder. So I guess here where faith comes into play. Because without God, it would be easy to get stuck n depressed n blue. But with HIM, the crosses are easier n more manageable. Because:
