YFC CONFERENCE: in maryland (was so awesome...n gained lots of insights about my self and life). Treked a million miles from the venue to our dorms (well more like a mile or maybe less but it was freakin krazy in da humid air of maryland...yuk gross...imgaining being sweaty rite after the shower. Met my sista's friends from sheattle (those girls kicked butt in da football tournament). Fellowshiped w/ da brothers and sistas from campus base YFC (Toni Rose, Randell aka "Woody da woodpecker", MAMA, Fama, Jolly Andrews, Gen, Crystal, Monique, Rachie, Chris B, Ei, DEE-ana, Gracie) and the other krazy cats of community! got closer to many of them. Toured parts of D.C., virginia, and maryland in about 5 hours (pretty krazy) Got housed in huge house like mansions of the east coast. Went to a huge backyard party (w/ candle lights and everything!) after the conference and ate w/ soooo many people. it was really cool! And saw GOD when praising and worshiping w/ 1,200 youth all over the US of A... WA, FL, TX, ILL, MD, NJ, NY, and bunch more i cant eben remember!! more details to come.
WORK: well dats kinda non-existent rite now...unless u count da 4 hours a week i do w/ my autistic kiddo- nathan. so sad so sad, im going to be leavin him and the kim family ver soon. becuz im movin bak to sunny ol' P-dale. few more sessions w/ him :( he's grown so much and progressed so much. praise god! but as for a real job i need to really start job hunting. pray for me y'all i really need to find a job so i can help my rents out!
HOME: my sista wingy's bak from sheattle but i havent really gotten 2 hang w/ her bcuz of school and work. and happenings in irvine. miss u wing. still got to organiz and change around my room ever since i moved all my stuff bak from 247 san leon. looks pretty messy in da home front. but im really excited to go home and juss chill w/ da family. cant wait. i really miss them A LOT!
SCHOOL: in about one day i will be officially finished w/ my undergraduate eduMAcation baby!! woohoo! i have finals for my last summer school class at IVC on wednesdaY! but i have to finish up 12 more hours at my interenship site- CAST wich i havent fulfilled since 2 qtrs ago. oopsies i need to get on top of dat. so i can get in all my units for graduation. now da real world begins.
DA JOURNEY: it has honestly been sooo awesome. i really feel so blest and lucky to have had the chance to go to maryland and find GOD amongst hundreds of pple. da talks were so inspiring and i really felt so callings from wat many of da speakers. im on fire fo da LORD! Amen. I cant stop singing da songs from dis weekend. there so catchy! da band and music ministry was so AWESOME. those cats were pretty talented and had such beautiful voices that also brought me to god. I guess i'm at a cross-road in my walk. and i prayin so hard that he'll guide me by opening the doors that will bring me closer to him; and shut close the ones that will take me away from serving HIM and my fellow bro's and sis's. i knoe rite now my priorities are: Kuya JESS, family, and a job. Praise God for dis weekend b/c it put everything in perspective for me, as well as giving me a nice break and vacation after graduating and a hectic/krazy senior year. Thank you Lord- for my family, friends, and faith!
